Sami Seliö is rated among the top drivers in Formula 1 powerboating. Seliö was a world champion in 2007 and was runner-up in the World Championship series in 2008. Sami was also voted the best boatracer in Scandinavia in 2008.

The Mad Croc F1 Team Woodstock teams drivers 2009 are Sami Seliö Finland, Massimo Roggiero Italy and Daniele Martignoni Italy. The team has 20 members.

The Formula 1 Powerboat is run like the GP-race series. It consists of 12 professional teams, each with two drivers and a reserve driver, Sami Seliö explains.
